How typical of former President Donald Trump to stand in front of the television and smirk while President Joe Biden makes his first speech since announcing he was dropping out of the 2024 presidential race. Trump is receiving a good browbeating on social media for this thoughtless stunt, which was photographed by one of his campaign staffers. The image was taken on his private plane.

In the image we see a sneering Trump standing to one side as Biden speaks, according to OK! Magazine.

The ridiculous plane image popped up on X, and it was taken by Trump’s own Deputy Director of Communications, Margo Martin, who challenged social media users to “caption this.”

As usual, this caught the attention of Ron Filipkowski, who skewered Trump because it’s too fun not to.

“Malignant narcissist sore loser who can’t accept the fact that he got his a– kicked so he used donor money to cosplay being on Air Force One; and the President of the United States.”

Of course, this being social media, users had a field day knocking Trump however they could. One noticed the exit sign above Trump’s head and added “Follow the sign Donny! Do the whole country a favor and drop out just like Joe!”

Another commenter jumped in with, Ladies and gentlemen… I present to you… The oldest weakest pathetic candidate in American History.”

And since Biden stepped down, Republicans have been purportedly “freaking out.” Obviously, they didn’t quite realize this could become a significant problem. Maybe it’s a case of “be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it.”

Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough observed “I’ve heard from inside the Trump campaign for some time right now that the one thing Donald Trump feared was not having Joe Biden to run against. If you talk about boxing, he was used to going against Biden, right? So, what have they done? They’ve switched it up — it’s going to be a southpaw now.”

Perhaps most Republicans are incapable of reflection. I’ve never been one so I wouldn’t know. Scarborough adds:

“Now you’re hearing [Speaker of the House] Mike Johnson, you’re hearing all these people just freak out: ‘This is illegal, you can’t do this. You can’t decide at a convention who your nominee is going to be. You can’t let the delegates decide.’ Well yeah, you can,” Scarborough explained.

It’s kind of fun watching Republicans meltdown over this. Guess it gives them something to do in their spare time. But by constantly undermining Biden, they may have created their own problem that could well bite them in the butt during election time.

And it couldn’t happen to a nicer group of people.
