on Stewart unleashed a scathing critique of Donald Trump on The Daily Show after the former president branded Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) as “the enemy from within.”

In a jaw-dropping segment, Stewart aired a clip of Trump asserting, “We have two enemies. The outside enemy and the enemy from within, and the enemy from within, in my opinion, is more dangerous than China, Russia, and all these countries.”

Stewart responded with biting sarcasm: “Hey, who wants fries!? Arnold Palmer’s cock, hey?” He then highlighted another alarming moment where Trump labeled his opponents as “very bad people” and suggested that the National Guard or military might need to step in.

“That’s not just ‘fun-loving’ or ‘mischievous’; that’s downright threatening,” Stewart retorted. That’s actually worthy of some real examination, and all the Republicans who have talked about having fun at Trump’s rallies, I’m sure they’d express concerns about this type of rhetoric.”

Stewart also called out Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, who attempted to downplay Trump’s comments by suggesting he was referring to border criminals. “Okay, ’cause I was worried it sounded bad. Let’s hear from Trump himself,” Stewart said, rolling clips where Trump explicitly named Schiff and Pelosi as the supposed “enemy from within.”

“Are you out of your fucking mind? The former speaker of the House is the enemy within? Well I bet Donald Trump is about to get an earful from the current speaker of the House, who will, despite his support of Donald Trump, still have the courage to– I’m kidding, just roll it!”

After showing House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) echoing Trump’s line about “marauding gangs,” Stewart quipped, “Ah yes, Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi, notorious capos in the Salvadoran gang MS-NBC.”
