Former President Donald Trump intensified his alarmist rhetoric on Thursday, warning of catastrophic consequences for the United States should Democrats secure victory in the upcoming 2024 election. In a series of dramatic statements, Trump suggested that a win by Vice President Kamala Harris would result in the nation being “reduced to ashes.”

Trump took to the social media platform “X” (formerly Twitter) to voice his dire predictions. “At the Democrat Convention, they said, ‘We’ve got 70 days to act right… After 70 days, we can go back to acting crazy!’ What they mean is that they want to get Elected, and then destroy our Country with Radical Left, Marxist/Socialist Policies. We can’t let this happen and, if it does, we won’t have a Country any longer. The U.S.A. will be reduced to ashes,” Trump wrote.

The former president’s apocalyptic claims followed a recent visit to the southern border, where he criticized Harris and warned of dire future consequences if she were to win the presidency. On Truth Social, Trump announced he was “inspecting the border” and lashed out at Harris, whom he disparaged as “Comrade Kamala Harris” and blamed for issues related to illegal immigration.

“Today, I am going to INSPECT THE SOUTHERN BORDER and to meet with the Victims whose Loved Ones were attacked and murdered by Illegal Aliens set free into America by Comrade Kamala Harris,” Trump wrote. He further warned that a Harris presidency would make the U.S. “the most dangerous country in the world” and lead to its rapid decline into a “Third World” status.

“Comrade Kamala Harris will bring in hundreds of thousands more Illegal Alien Rapists, Drug Dealers, and Killers, but President Donald J. Trump will keep these same people out of our Country, and send them back to their Countries where they belong,” Trump declared. “I WILL KEEP AMERICA SAFE! UNDER COMRADE KAMALA, AMERICA WILL BE THE MOST DANGEROUS COUNTRY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. IT WILL REVERT TO THIRD WORLD STATUS VERY QUICKLY!”

Trump’s heightened fear campaign comes as Harris gains traction and climbs in the polls, signaling increased competition in the 2024 race.
